Kris Kristofferson confirms performance at Glastonbury 2017
Legendary singer/songwriter Kris Kristofferson has confirmed his appearance at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
The 80-year-old icon recently updated his tour diary for 2017 - adding a set on the Pyramind Stage at Glasto on Friday, 23 June. Traditionally the 'Legend' slot takes place on Sunday - so unless that's changed, there's still another big name to come for that.
As well as a glittering solo career, Kristofferson carved a name for himself in the world of film and as part of The Highwaymen with three of country's greatest - Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson.
Radiohead are the only officially confirmed act for Glastonbury 2017 so far, with The Avalanches set to play according to themselves. Phil Collins, Depeche Mode, Guns N' Roses, Foo Fighters, Kraftwerk, Daft Punk and The Stone Roses have been linked with next year's event in the past few months, while Little Mix and Lady Gaga have also expressed interest in performing.
