Killer Mike reveals recent shoulder surgery in Instagram post

Rapper Killer Mike revealed on Instagram that he's recovering from recent shoulder surgery with a post thanking those around him.

Although it's unclear why the Run The Jewels rapper had to have shoulder surgery in the first place, he's revealed on Instagram his gratitude towards the surgeon that "repaired" his shoulder.

Killer Mike gets fully involved with the hashtags too, writing, "#ThanksDocImBackToBalling", "#ImInAWorldOfPain" and "#IgottaRetireFromSlappinFuckBoys".

He also credits the surgeon's skills who apparently "repaired" Outkast's Big Boi and US basketball player Dwyane Wade.

This year Killer Mike has collaborated with When Saints Go Machine and 2 Chainz.

Run The Jewels' last record RTJ3 arrived back in January 2017.

Earlier this summer Killer Mike gave back to his community in Atlanta by offering kids free back-to-school haircuts in his barbershops.
