Fontaines DC announce O2 Academy Brixton interactive livestream gig
Fontaines DC have announced an interactive livestream show taking place later this month, filmed at London's O2 Academy Brixton.
The livestream show will see the band perform to an empty O2 Academy Brixton, the same venue that hosted their biggest sold out London headline show to date.
Fontaines DC's gig will be available to watch exclusively on MelodyVR (via the MelodyVR app, smartphones and VR headsets), an interactive viewing platform that allows viewers to choose camera angles.

The band says of the upcoming show, "Brixton was one of the last places we played to an audience and it was a really special show for us. It's a weird thing to be playing a show to an empty room, regardless of the size or esteem of it. Maybe even more so because of that. Hopefully though with you there we can get back some kind of ghost of that feeling, even if it's not quite the same."
Fontaines DC's second album A Hero’s Death landed in July.
Last month the group contributed a cover of The Beach Boys' "Wouldn't It Be Nice" to Deezer's InVersions compilation album.
