Foals blast back with new single "The Runner"
Foals return with new banger "The Runner", the second single from their forthcoming album Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 2.
"The Runner" arrives after August's lead single "Black Bull".
Vocalist/guitarist Yannis Philippakis says of the new single, "It's a call to find a sense of purpose and perseverance despite the odds and despite the troubles we may find inside or outside ourselves."
Foals' first album of the year, Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost - Part 1,dropped back in March, and was nominated for the 2019 Mercury Prize Award last month.
The indie rock group have certainly kept to their word after revealing at the Mercury Prize nominations event that the new record is "a heavier listen", and riddled with "big riffs".
