Flume, Wild Nothing, and DJ Shadow are the most-blogged artists of 2016
Hype Machine has revealed its Zeitgeist 2016 list, revealing what 'the blogs' were chattering about most during this turbulent year.
The aggregating service has ranked which artists were mentioned the most times by the music blogs and sites of the world - with Australian producer Flume topping the list.
Hype Machine don't give out exactly how the producer managed to bag the accolade, but with two genre-flitting releases (Skin and its companion EP) bridging the gap between dance, pop, electronica, and more, he easily appeals to a wide range of niche outlets as well as the big dogs.
Wild Nothing bagged the number two spot, while DJ Shadow comes in at three. Yumi Zouma and Run The Jewels round out the Top Five, with Father John Misty, Mitski, Weaves, BADBADNOTGOOD, and Kauf finishing off the Top 10.
