Nick Murphy is back with his first outing of 2021 as Chet Faker, "Get High".
After reviving his Chet Faker alias for the first time in five years with "Low" in October last year, Murphy has returned with a second new Chet Faker release, "Get High".
The new track was written and produced by Murphy. He says, "Sometimes you just need a break. I find myself wanting to escape just for a little while and the song sort of showed up on its own."
Murphy's last project under his Chet Faker name was 2015's Work EP with Marcus Marr. He's yet to follow up Chet Faker's 2014 album Built on Glass.
Chet Faker's "Get High" single is out now.
