Since November, Charli XCX has had plans to make two albums for 2020. She wrote on Twitter back then, "I think i want to release two albums next year... or at least MAKE two albums next year and then if one has to come out early 2021 that’s ok too. i feel very inspired at the moment."
Last month, the Charli singer said in an interview, "I don't know that an album will come next year...I will make it, and it will be ready, it's just whether everybody around me can like, get their shit together and make it happen. But yeah, I will definitely be making new music for sure."
On Sunday (29 December), Charli XCX listed her New Year's resolutions, which includes having more adventures, going vegetarian, taking her vitamins, and plans to "make two albums".
