Charli XCX previously collaborated with Christine and the Queens on "Gone" in 2019, and worked with Polachek on her Pop 2 track "Tears" in 2017.

Last month Charli XCX said of her upcoming album due out next year, "It's kind of all about sex and sexuality. It can make people dance and cry at the same time. It's a vibe."

Yesterday (1 November) she shared what appeared to be a list of collaborators for her follow-up to last year's quarantine album how i'm feeling now.

Charli XCX's "New Shapes" single with Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens will arrive on Thursday (4 November).
