Charli XCX drops new banger "Good Ones"
Charli XCX has delivered her highly-anticipated new banger "Good Ones".
The new track is teamed with a Hannah Lux Davis-directed video, and arrives alongside Charli XCX and A. G. Cook's remix of Lady Gaga's "911" for the Dawn Of Chromatica remix album.
"Good Ones" marks Charli XCX's first new solo release since last year's quarantine album how i'm feeling now. She says of the track, "The first single of my new chapter embraces all that my life has to offer in today’s world – fame, glamour, inner demons and global hits. "Good Ones" was produced by Oscar Holter of Max Martin’s Wolf Cousins entity, and laments my inability to keep hold of healthy relationships, instead being endlessly drawn back to the dysfunctional and toxic."
Last month Charli XCX spoke about her new music, saying, "New music is coming, it’s very good, it is very pop. It feels like Charli ultra popstar, all-out, sell your soul, kind of version of myself. I feel like I have unlocked this kind of ultimate top-tier level of myself and it is fun to get to know her a bit as well."
