BTS share teaser clip of forthcoming "Dynamite" single
BTS are releasing new single "Dynamite" this week, and have today (18 August) shared a short teaser clip of the song and video.
The K-pop group unveiled the title of their English language single at the start of August, and have this afternoon (18 August) uploaded a 28-second clip of the single on YouTube.
BTS' upcoming single appears to be inspired by elements of disco, with BTS throwing some shapes underneath a huge "DISCO" sign.
When announcing the single, BTS wrote, "The song is upbeat and sung in English, just like "MIC Drop" and "Waste It On Me". We thought that the song sounded perfect as it is in English. We recorded the guide version and felt that the result was something totally new and fresh."
BTS added, "We also needed a breakthrough during these unforeseen times, so we worked on this new song. This is a new challenge for us as well. When we first heard and recorded the song, we were energised and our spirits were lifted up. We can’t wait to share this song with you all and enjoy it together."
The band have been busy this year. Last month they released their Japanese album Map Of The Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~, which followed on from February's MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 LP. Suga of the group also released his D-2 mixtape as Agust D in May, and Junkook released new solo track "Still With You" in June.
