Bryce Dessner of The National is teaming up with Bonnie "Prince" Billy and classical outfit Eighth Blackbird for new album When We Are Inhuman.
It's the first project from Dessner since releasing his classical record El Chan, and The National's I Am Easy To Find album.
The new record lands with a new version of Bonnie "Prince" Billy's "Beast For Thee" song.
Pitchfork report that When We Are Inhuman sees Eighth Blackbird rework some of Bonnie "Prince" Billy's songs, some of Dessner's "Murder Ballades" workings from Eighth Blackbird's Filament record, and a live version of "Stay on It" by Julius Eastman.
Tracklist:
- Stay on It
