Bruce Springsteen shares rare ballad "I'll Stand By You"
Bruce Springsteen has dropped new ballad "I'll Stand By You", which will feature on the soundtrack to Blinded by the Light, a film inspired by Springsteen's music.
"I'll Stand By You" is a previously unreleased ballad that he originally wrote for the Harry Potter films. It didn't appear on any of the Harry Potter film soundtracks, so it's making an appearance on Blinded by the Light, a new film inspired by Springsteen's music, and directed by Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham).
Springsteen's new offering is his first since releasing his Western Stars album in June.
Last month Springsteen revealed the Western Stars film will be premiered in September at Toronto's International Film Festival.
