Before Morning Phase was released earlier in 2014, Beck had discussed plans to release two LPs this year. Now, speaking in a new interview, the musician has confirmed this to still be the case.
“I’ve been working on and off on a different set of songs,” he told KCRW. “They’re more boisterous [than Morning Phase]. You’re screwed with any kind of adjective but hopefully we’ll get it out this year.”
The record is said to date back to 2008, expecting to be less acoustic-based than his recent album. No due date or title is yet known for the release.
