John Maus details forthcoming album, Later Than You Think
John Maus has announced the forthcoming album, Later Than You Think, alongside the release of its opening track, "Because We Built It".
“Because We Built It” is a song that poetically and pointedly expresses the burden of collective guilt and the need for radical transformation of unjust systems, which follows the project's first single, “I Hate Antichrist” – his first release in a decade.
Later Than You Think follows his five previous albums – Songs (2006), Love Is Real (2007), We Must Become The Pitiless Censors of Ourselves (2011), Screen Memories (2017) and Addendum (2018).
