Ásgeir shares new single "Afterglow" ahead of second album
Icelandic singer/songwriter Ásgeir has shared "Afterglow", the title track from his upcoming second record.
The track is the latest taste of the follow up to In The Silence, linking up with "Unbound" and "Stardust" to tease the LP.
For Afterglow (the album) Ásgeir has teamed again with his father – poet and Ólafur Arnalds collaborator Einar Georg Einarsson – and Guðmundur Kristinn Jónsson. Ásgeir's brother Thorsteinn and Julius Robertsson have also contributed.
"I feel like I have achieved plenty already with this album, gotten to know myself better, feel like I’ve grown a lot. Not just because of the album, but it has definitely helped," Ásgeir says of the new LP's personal impact.
