AJ Tracey leaves his rap flow at home for melodic new cut "Psych Out!"
AJ Tracey switches out his rap flow for a spot of singing on "Psych Out!", the second single from his debut album.
Ladbroke Grove's AJ Tracey announced his debut album back in November 2018 with the punchy lead single "Doing It".
Now he returns with second single "Psych Out!", which sees the rapper switch up his vocals for a more melodic delivery, and follows the rapper to Atlanta's infamous Magic City club.
AJ Tracey shares his debut album tracklist earlier this month, revealing collaborations with Giggs and Not3s, as well as a multitude of producers like Steel Banglez, Conducta, Cadenza, and more.
"Psych Out!" sees AJ Tracey explore new territory, something that he's hoping to show with his debut record. Speaking to Julie Adenuga on her Beats 1 show when announcing the album, AJ Tracey explained, "when I say I'm making country music, it's my take on country music. So the instrumental is obviously comprised of guitars and strings but there's still 808's because I'm obviously an 808 badboy. So there's 808s and we got guitars and we got me singing it and obviously talking about things like you know, what would I usually talk about."
