Aaron Dessner reveals Big Red Machine have nearly finished their new project
Aaron Dessner has provided an update on his new Big Red Machine project, revealing it's nearly finished.
Big Red Machine, the collaborative project of The National's Aaron Dessner and Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, haven't released new music under the name since their 2018 self-titled debut.
Since then, both members have been busy with other projects - The National released their I Am Easy To Find LP, and Bon Iver dropped their long-awaited fourth album i,i.
Yesterday (19 March) on Instagram, Dessner uploaded a new post thanking music and video producer Paul Heck for sending him some retro Cincinnati Reds baseball cards. He wrote, "Wow Paul Heck ....you just raised my spirits ....literally finishing new Big Red Machine as we speak. THANK YOU."

Vernon of Bon Iver has also been busy since the last Big Red Machine LP. In January he featured on Bonny Light Horseman's "Bright Morning Stars".
