Lana Del Rey's manager says her new album is "nearing completion"
Lana Del Rey's manager Ben Mawson has given an update on her new album, saying it's "nearing completion".
In May Lana Del Rey spoke about her follow-up to last year's Blue Banisters album, revealing that the "songs are very conversational," and that she's been "practicing meditative automatic singing, where I don’t filter anything." She added, "It’s a very wordy album. So there’s no room for colour. It’s almost like I’m typing in my mind."
The following month Lana Del Rey's manager Ben Mawson confirmed her new album was "coming soon", and on Instagram yesterday (18 August) he provided an update, writing, "New album nearing completion …."
Her forthcoming album will follow last year's Blue Banisters album.
Back in January Lana Del Rey contributed a new song titled "Watercolor Eyes" to the Euphoria Season Two soundtrack.
