Punjabi megastar Diljit Dosanjh joins Jackson Wang for dark-dance pop moment “BUCK”
Indian singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has collaborated with Jackson Wang for bass-heavy pop anthem “BUCK”, the third single from Wang’s upcoming record MAGICMAN 2.
The moody, high-energy track also sees Wang and Dosanjh together for an eerie visual as Wang leans into a more sonically dark and brooding palette than his work with South Korean boy band GOT7.
The music video, directed by Wang himself and Nicholas Lam, features a dark, surreal, and cinematic imagery paired with fast-paced choreography, highlighting Jackson’s performance skills.
MAGICMAN 2 – entirely self-produced and over a year in the making – was born from Wang’s first real break away from the spotlight, and traces manic highs, identity loss, and the shedding of people-pleasing tendencies. Dosanjh – who has collaborated with the likes of Sia, Camilo, and Ed Sheeran – is fresh off a historic Coachella performance and a streak of sold-out shows globally.
His presence on “BUCK” brings together two dedicated fan bases across languages and music genres, marking a moment of cultural collaboration.
MAGICMAN 2 is released on 18 July 2025 via Team Wang records. Pre-order now via Jackson-Wang.com.
