Iceland Airwaves 2025 reveals line-up and launches Tiny Tower Sessions

Iceland Airwaves 2025 has announced new speakers for its conference and launched a video session series.

Set to take place 6-8 November in downtown Reykjavik, Iceland Airwaves 2025 will once again pair its music showcase with a two-day industry conference. Confirmed speakers include Nicholas Douglas (Notion), Isla Mcrobbie (The Great Escape), Virginie Berger (MUSICx), Jeremy Silver (Mediaclarity Consultancy), and César Andión (Live Nation Spain / The Spanish Wave), alongside Icelandic industry leaders Ísleifur Thorhallsson, Arni Thor Arnason, and Inga Magnes Weisshappel.

Panels will explore topics such as royalties and AI, Gen-Z fan behaviour, and Iceland’s influence on collaboration, with early highlights including "The Big Skip: Does Anyone Listen to Music Anymore?" and "Global, But Make It Weird: How Specificity Became the New Strategy."

Also announced is a partner event with múm, who will perform a headline show at Harpa on 9 November. Discounted tickets are available for festival pass holders.

Coinciding with the announcement is the launch of Tiny Tower Sessions, a new video series filmed in the Reykjavik tower on Lækjargata. The first episode features a performance by bedroom pop duo KUSK & Óviti.
