Babe unveil new CCTV-style visuals for "The Warbling" [Premiere]
Glasgow-based outfit Babe are unveiling their visuals for recent single "The Warbling" on Best Fit.
Dan Tombs (East India Youth, Gold Panda) has directed the visuals, which features a lo-fi CCTV screen flickering to the beat of the band's juddering synths. Strobes and lighting effects make for chaotic visuals, which is a mesmerising contrast to the slick pop that Babe spew out.
Tombs said of the clip: "I spent a day with the band in their rehearsal studio and captured the energy of their live performance over multiple takes, the results of these were combined and processed through analogue video equipment and the result of this feedback loop recorded back to tape."
Babe's The Hereaftergo'ers EP is out now on Moshi Moshi. It follows last year's debut Volery Flighty.
The quartet will play London's The Lexington on Wednesday evening, supporting Barbarossa.
