Anna Of The North shout out to all the fakers on super-charged pop jam "Money"
Anna Of The North marry razor-edged words with honey-sweet pop vibes on new single "Money".
The tune follows July belter "Someone". As with the rest of the LP, it was recorded in Oslo and mixed by Luke Smith (Foals, Depeche Mode).
"'Money' goes out to all those fake ass people," Anna Of The North say of the single. "Users who use those around them; for money, for status, for fame. S/O to fake friends and gold-diggers!"
Anna Of The North have been busy lately - as well as playing with Justin Bieber in London over the summer, they sidled up alongside Frank Ocean on Tyler, The Creator's recent single "911 / Mr. Lonely" and Corinne Bailey Rae and Rex Orange County on the Cali rapper's "Boredom".
The pair - Norwegian vocalist Anna Lotterud and New Zealand producer Brady Daniell-Smith - have a bunch of live dates planned for the summer, and will also play a headline date at London's Omeara on 26 September. Find out more.
