Anna Of The North air sublime new single "Someone"
Anna Of The North have shared bewitching Scandi-pop charmer "Someone", the second single from upcoming debut LP Lovers.
"We think almost everyone has woken up after a big night, instantly regretting something that happened," the duo say of the track. "It's about how easy it is to break your promises when you’ve had a couple of drinks. Going deeper, the song is about accepting that you’re only human and to learn how to forgive yourself for your own mistakes and accepting that sometimes we need someone to save us from repeating any old habits."
Anna Of The North have been busy lately - as well as playing with Justin Bieber in London over the weekend, they sidled up alongside Frank Ocean on Tyler, The Creator's new single "911 / Mr. Lonely".
The pair - Norwegian vocalist Anna Lotterud and New Zealand producer Brady Daniell-Smith - have a bunch of live dates planned for the summer, and will also play a headline date at London's Omeara on 26 September. Find out more.
