Hans Zimmer recruits Dave Grohl and other famous drummers for 'Man of Steel' film soundtrack
Warner Bros. is taking another shot at the Superman franchise with its latest movie Man of Steel and since the release is in two weeks the lead protagonist’s walnut-cracking abs have been plastered on every billboard and bus stop.
However, attention should really be paid to the film’s composer Hans Zimmer who has managed to fill some big shoes in regards to the movie’s score by doing something completely out of the box.
Zimmer was joined by an army of famed drummers, specifically (and take a deep breath now) Matt Chamberlain (of Pearl Jam), Josh Freese (of Devo, NIN, A Perfect Circle), Danny Carey (of Tool), Jason Bonham (of the late John), Pharrell Williams, Sheila E., John JR Robinson, Satnam Ramgotra, Toss Panos, Jim Keltner, Vinnie Colaiuta, Bernie Dresel, Curt Bisquera, Trevor Lawrence, Jr., and Ryeland Allison, Stewart Copeland and Dave Grohl, who are all providing the percussion for his Man of Steel soundtrack.
