Watch Misha B in session covering Frank Ocean's 'Super Rich Kids'
Misha B might have risen to prominance via the X-Factor route but the 21-year old’s pedigree is as earthy and authentic as they come. Pushing a brand of smart R&B-tinged pop, the Mancunian girl has marked her career to date with some intelligent choices and a personality-driven sound.
Misha hooked up with writing and production prodigy MNEK for debut single ‘Home Run’ and blazed through the last twelve months with two quality mixtapes (the first saw her mesh the likes of The Weeknd, Drake, Adele, Usher and Lil Wayne together). Her third single ‘Here’s To Everything (Oh La La La)’ drops on 28 April, with a debut long-player to follow in the summer.
Watch Misha reel off a swoonsome rework Frank Ocean’s ‘Super Rich Kids’ – one of our favourite tracks of last year – in the video above, which we’ve produced in collaboration with bimonthly fashion and music magazine Notion. Over at Planet Notion you can also watch her lay down a gorgeous acoustic take on the new single too.
