Warpaint release trailer for Chris Cunningham-directed documentary

British filmmaker Chris Cunningham has directed a new documentary following the recording of Warpaint’s new album.

The fourpiece release their self-titled second LP today, with Cunningham (who is married to the band’s bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg) piecing together two years worth of footage for the project.

A press release for the film reads: “In addition to capturing imagery he also reimagined the songs themselves, creating beautiful and exciting alternate versions to soundtrack the visuals”.

Cunningham is previously responsible for videos by Aphex Twin and other. Watch a trailer for the documentary below:
