Sufjan Stevens to release 10th anniversary edition of Illinois

Sufjan Stevens is set to mark a decade of Illinois with a vinyl repressing of the album, complete with new artwork by comic titans Marvel.

It'll be available in two different colours, 'Antimatter Blue' and 'Cape White', and feature new artwork from Marvel. The original art for the album featured an image of D.C.'s Superman (although this was swiftly removed following fears of lawsuits), but where the Man Of Steel once was, there will now be an image of The Blue Marvel.

Stevens' released a new record, Carrie & Lowell, earlier this year. It's pretty good.

The Illinois repress will arrive early 2016 on Asthmatic Kitty. It's limited to 10,000 copies.
