Radiohead to start new album in September
Following on from Thom Yorke’s Atoms For Peace side-project and dabbling in electronic music culture, Radiohead have revealed that they’ll regroup for a new album in September.
The release in question will be the group’s ninth to date and follow-up to 2011′s King of Limbs.
Colin Greenwood told Africa’s Mail & Guardian recently: “ are on a nine-month break until September when they will start work on their ninth album.”
Greenwood reiterated the same sentiment to BBC 6 Music earlier today, saying: “We’re taking some time out whilst people are doing some other stuff, doing their own things, and the plan is to get back together again end of the summer.”
Yorke’s side-project, Atoms For Peace will release debut album Amok on 26 February via XL Recordings.
