Paul Oakenfold teams up with Azealia Banks & Miguel on new album
Dance veteran and Big Brother theme music creator, Paul Oakenfold has revealed he’s recruited a list of star-studded names for his first album since 2006.
The electronic musician is set to follow up previous album A Lively Mind with a new effort this year and has revealed that Azealia Banks, Miguel and more will appear on the release.
Oakenfold told Billboard:
“I’ve recorded with ZZ Ward who is blues, Alan Stone who is soul, Wallpaper who is kind of pop rock. I’ve got a couple of songs by Miguel. I’ve got Azealia Banks. I’ve got some of the bigger names – I don’t want to mention all the names because I’d like it as a surprise — but what I’m more a fan of is finding new young talent.”
The record goes by the name Pop Killer and is “75% done”.
