Ofcom report that more music is pirated than any other medium

More music is illegally shared online than TV shows, films, books and games all combined, a new report shows.
According to MusicWeek, around 297 million tracks were illegally shared during the third-quarter of 2012 while around 56 million TV shows were downloaded or streamed.
This compares to the 44 million films that were bootlegged and 35 million video games, 27 million computer software and 8 million books that were also pirated during this period.
The Ofcom report shows that 16% of UK internet users aged 12 and above illegally obtained entertainment products during this time.
