Stockholm's Elliphant, after a lengthy spell touring festivals, has ducked back into the studio to craft this fine effort, "One More", with MØ.
Compared to the traditional output from Elliphant - AKA Ellinor Olovsdotter - it's more subdued. A creaking, burbling effort, it sees Olovsdotter eschew the bombastic grandeur of her Look Like You Love It EP; that's not to say it lacks any passion however, as "One More" culminates in a ramped-up entwining of both vocalists howling at the moon. While this is a track built for clubs, there's a desperation; a calm before the storm.
