Lana Del Rey goes for the jugular on heart-stopping comeback single "Love"
Lana Del Rey returns with "Love", the first single from her upcoming fifth record, and an accompanying video by Rich Lee.
The track arrives after a poster campaign in Los Angeles which saw the artwork (above) plastered around the city.
"Love" - originally titled "Young And In Love" - is a glamorous ballad with swoon-worthy melodies and a resounding chorus. Gun SFX pepper the typically aesthetic-heavy cut, with lots of vintage vibes and heart-on-your-sleeve statements to belt along with.
"Love" features input from producers Rick Nowels, Benny Blanco, and Emile Haynie and serves as a preview of Del Rey's next LP - due out "later this year". Her upcoming release follows 2015's Honeymoon.
“I made my first four albums for me," says the balladeer. "This one is for my fans and about where I hope we are all headed”.
Del Rey has a busy summer of festivalling ahead, with dates at Way Out West, Flow Festival, and Øya among those confirmed. Check out her full schedule on Songkick.
