Kathleen Hanna documentary The Punk Singer to get theatrical release in UK

The Punk Singer, Sini Anderson’s documentary film about Bikini Kill musician Kathleen Hanna, is set to air in UK cinemas later this year.
Distributor Dogwoof have penned a new deal which will see the doc get a theatrical release this coming May. The film itself follows the former Le Tigre front woman’s life and career and features interviews with Kim Gordon, Joan Jett and others.
The release will coincide with UK live dates from Hanna’s new band, The Julie Ruin.
