Julian Assange has been no stranger to the music world lately, releasing a rap collaboration and, even more strangely, covering John Farnham in a parody Youtube video. Now he’s supported M.I.A at her recent New York show, via Skype of course.
The Wikileaks leader appeared through video link from London, delivering a live speech to the musician’s fans. Assange is currently being protected at the Ecuadorian embassy in London from charges of sexual assault in Sweden in fear of extradition the U.S. for claims of treason
