Grimes apparently confirmed for Glastonbury 2016, with Adele in the running to headline
According to Loaded, Grimes is definitely going to play the Worthy Farm event, with Adele in the running as a headliner, and two of the John Peel stage's headliners locked down.
Longtime organiser and booker Martin Elbourne spoke at M For Montreal, letting a few bits of very interesting news slip out: “We are going to put Grimes on… we just have to figure out where.”
“The Pyramid Stage is pretty much done," he added. "I’ve just secured two of my headliners for John Peel, so now it will be down to firming up three and four.”
For the Pyramid Stage, lots of talk has been about Coldplay, Foo Fighters, and The Stone Roses, but Adele isn't out of the running. Elbourne added: “There’s lots of talk about Adele and it’s in there in the mix. Adele is in a situation in her career where frankly she can do whatever the hell she likes. Hopefully it will happen and it still needs to be confirmed. She’s not into festivals but obviously, every promoter in the world wants to get her so fingers crossed, we are hoping it’s going to happen.”

Grimes released new LP Art Angels earlier this month. Adele also dropped a record, called 25, that's doing rather well in the charts.
