Graham Coxon rules out new Blur album, preparing 'blues' solo record
Graham Coxon seems certain there’ll be no new Blur record, as he responds to a fan’s probing question.
The guitarist was replying to the fan, who posted the following on Twitter:
@grahamcoxon Is there a new Blur album coming out? If so, when?

Coxon’s reply was put rather succinctly:
“@khaniboy: @grahamcoxon Is there a new Blur album coming out? If so, when?” No

He did, however, reveal that there’s plans for a new solo record, writing:
“@frits96: @grahamcoxon any solo plans mister?” Yes… Mainly blues scales and a little atonality.
