EZTV announce debut album Calling Out, share lead single "The Light"
NYC's EZTV have announced their debut long-player, Calling Out, and unveiled lead single "The Light", which you can listen to now.
Jarvis Taveniere of Woods has produced the record, which was recorded Thump Studios in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Drawing inspiration from "power-pop and college-rock", the trio - who met while auditioning (unsuccessfully) to be live sessioners for Spiritualized - it's a record that aims to go back to basics, removing the fluff and gumpf in favour of good, strong melodies.
Calling Out is out 10 July via Captured Tracks. You can pre-order it now on iTunes.
