BBC honour early Roland drum-machines and samplers, the TR-808, TR-909 and TB-303, in a new Radio 1 documentary.
The programme, which aired on Monday night, focusses on the three classic models and what effect they had on the advancement of electronic music during the 1980s and beyond.
Presenter Kutski tries to track down the creators and makers of the sound boxes, as well as interviewing DJ Premier and Richie Hawtin along the way.
