Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy sentenced to three years probation for drug possession

Earlier this year, Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy was arrested for possession of Class A drugs after being involved in a hit-and-run attack. Now, the British musician has been sentenced to three years probation after pleading guilty to one of the charges.
Murphy, who was arrested back in March, pleaded no contest to hit-and-run charges and guilty to possession of methamphetamine. Along with the three years probation, he must also attend 45 days of Narcotics Anonymous meetings as well as be subject to random drugs testing.
The singer is currently touring to mark Bauhaus’ 35th anniversary.
