Saintseneca announce new album Such Things with lead single "Sleeper Hold"
Following the success of their luscious folk album Dark Arc last year, Saintseneca are doing what comes naturally - releasing a pop album.
The first taste of that new direction arrives in the form of "Sleeper Hold". Infusing their distinctive take on folk with a bold, anthemic chorus and twinkling melodies, the group's bewitching harmonies are sounding more captivating than ever.
"I was pushing myself with Such Things to try to explore the pop motif further, to try to use and bend that formula of having a groove, a beat, locking in and using that as scaffolding to build a song,” frontman Zac Little states. “And even though it oftentimes might seem like this singular vision, at the core my creative strategy for the band is one that inherently involves other people. I think the best work I’ll make involves working that way.”
"Sleeper Hold" features on Saintseneca's new album, Such Things, released via Anti- on 9 October.
