ALASKALASKA blend jazz, disco and funk on new track “Patience”

Beautiful grooves to ease your worried mind.
Inspired by the swing leaning Tsonga disco movement, “Patience” borrows from the likes of Madlaks and Loaf Boy, interspersing this pretty obscure genre with Warpaint-esque melody and harmony. With touches of minimalist rhythmics and auto-tuned vocals, “Patience” is the best possible introduction to ALASKALASKA’s brand of off-kilter pop fusion.
“Patience” is out now via House Anxiety.
