Jimi Goodwin returned this year with his first solo long player following a prolific career that spanned four hugely successful albums with his former band Doves.

Odludek finds Goodwin mixing his trademark sound with nods towards a range of influences, all filtered through an intelligent northern melancholy. We caught up with the great man and his band last month for a live take of “Oh! Whiskey”, which you can watch above.
