Rozi Plain previews new album with third cut "Help"
Rozi Plain has unveiled a new single titled "Help", which is the third preview of her upcoming album PRIZE.
"Help" follows the release of previous singles "Prove Your Good" and "Agreeing for Two", and is teamed with a Noriko Okaku-directed video.
""Help" I think [is] my favourite song on the new album," Rozi Plain explains. "We turned it into what it became up in the snow in Glasgow with Gerard and Jamie. A feeling can be a moving target and trying to track it down isn't always possible. Sometimes it's slipped away without you even knowing. Beloved things change and it's okay but can require a lot of deep digging."
Plain adds, "Cole Pulice playing the saxophone (sound a bit like strings)! The harp is Serafina Steer! James Howard playing the guitar (sounds a bit like an accordion). Amaury Ranger on Bass. Gerard Black on a hundred different keyboards! Jamie Whitby Coles drums. I'm so honoured to have all these musicians who's work I love so much playing on this song."
PRIZE is produced by Plain and Jamie Whitby Coles, and will follow 2019's What a Boost.
"Help" is out now. Rozi Plain's PRIZE album will arrive via Memphis Industries on 13 January 2023, and is available to pre-order now. She'll play London's Studio 9294 on 14 March 2023. Visit roziplain.co.uk for tickets.
