Paramore's Hayley Williams covers Beyoncé's "I Miss You"
Paramore are currently on the second leg of their North American tour in support of their most recent album, This Is Why.
Yesterday evening (11 July) at their show in Houston, Hayley Williams paid homage to Houston native Beyoncé by singing a cover of "I Miss You" – which features on her fourth studio album and was co-written with Frank Ocean – in the acapella segment of their show between the songs "Liar" and "Crystal Clear".
In 2014, when accepting the honour of Trailblazer of the Year at Billboard's Women in Music Awards, Williams revealed that she was nervous about being in the same room as Beyoncé: "Thank you for having me. I wrote [my speech] down because I was afraid I would make eye contact with Beyoncé and forget everything,” she said.
"This the greatest honor I could receive, because this is the legacy I want to leave," she continued. "It’s an amazing and powerful thing to be celebrated for who you are. There are a lot of girls who never feel that way, and I want to spend my life making them seen and heard.”

Hayley Williams is known for incorporating different songs between their own, including Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", and Blondie's "Heart of Glass".
Over the weekend, during the same interlude in which she sang "I Miss You", Williams' snuck in a snippet of Paramore's "Tell Me How", which features on their 2017 album, After Laughter, and has only been played live once.
Williams also recently featured on Taylor Swift's latest re-recording, Speak Now (Taylor's Version), where the pair duetted on the track "Castles Crumbling".
