New musical film X Crucior written by Sparks in the works
It's been revealed that Sparks, aka Ron and Russell Mael, are writing and executive producing a new musical film titled X Crucior.
Deadline reports that the Mael brothers have reunited with Focus Pictures, who distributed last year's Edgar Wright-directed documentary The Sparks Brothers, for a new musical film titled X Crucior, which they will write and executive produce.
A director is yet to be attached to X Crucior, but Kiska Higgs will oversee production on behalf of Focus Pictures.
Back in July Sparks revealed to fans that they've been working on a new album to follow 2020's A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip.
Last year Sparks also wrote and composed the score for the musical film Annette starring Adam Driver, Marion Cotillard and more.
