Marmozets return with first release in seven years, "A Kiss From A Mother"
Marmozets have made their return with "A Kiss From A Mother" – their first new music in seven years – alongside announcing details of an extensive run of UK headline shows.
“The message of the song is to make sure you listen, rather than just shoot straight back. Probably everyone can relate to the idea of not letting some advice go in one ear and out the other, let it actually immerse in you. As for my voice, that’s just my spirit coming out! I’m not playing a character; I’m giving it all that I’ve got,” explains Becca Macintyre.
The track follows their two studio albums, The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets (2014) and Knowing What You Know Now (2018).
Alongside the new music, Marmozets have announced their first headline underplay shows since 2018, which start in December with stops in Cardiff, Brighton, Glasgow, Nottingham, Bristol, and more, before concluding with a show at London’s Dingwalls on 31 January.
"A Kiss From A Mother" is out now via Nettwerk Music Group.
