William Doyle releases new hour-long ambient collection Lightnesses II
Producer William Doyle (formerly East India Youth) has today shared new hour-long release Lightnesses II.
The new two-track "companion piece" follows June's Lightnesses and last year's The Dream Derealised LP.
"This volume is darker in tone than the major keys of the first volume. A sense of a resolution that never quite arrives," explains Doyle. "I'd been keeping these aside for a release intended much further in the future, but very recently I found myself needing to revisiting the space these tracks put me in. It induced a sense of calm and warmth in me that I felt others could benefit from as the days in the northern hemisphere become colder."
Doyle also says that a new "full-length album" will be coming at an unspecified point in 2018.
