Watch Rosie Lowe's visuals for new single "Who's That Girl?"
R&B crooner Rosie Lowe is jetting off on tour with Neneh Cherry soon, but ahead of that, she's shared a video for new single "Who's That Girl?".
It's another preview of Lowe's as-yet-untitled debut full-length, due out later this year on Wolftone, the same label as Glass Animals - and operated by three-time BRIT winner Paul Epworth.
Explaining the track's meaning, Lowe said:
“‘Who’s That Girl?’ is about not recognising someone any more. It’s always in the times of struggle - when something bad happens - that the biggest lessons are learnt and you realise who your true friends are. Some people step up and some people step down. ‘Who’s That Girl?’ is about a friend that stepped down when I needed her most. It was a blessing in disguise as it opened my eyes to all the things I couldn’t see from such close proximity.”
London film maker duo Bison created the clip - they used "rhythm and vocal stems of the song to midi-trigger lights and projections", which makes the video feel gorgeously organic and in sync with Lowe.
