
Toy return with two new tracks "The Willo" and "Energy"
"The Willo" and "Energy" are the first two tracks from Toy since signing to Tough Love Records.
It's been two years since Toy's last album Clear Shot, and now the indie rock group are back with two brand new tracks.
Vocalist and guitarist Tom Dougall explains more on their first offering "The Willo", “People appear to have seen Will-o’-the-wisp, a mysterious green-blue light, over the centuries. It generally means something ominous is about to happen."
Second track "Energy" is raw and chaotic, and is penned around a nighttime ritual written by keys player Max Oscarnold, who joined the band after Alejandra Diez's departure in 2015.
The two new tracks are a move towards Toy's fourth album, which is due to be released next year.
Toy play a free show at London's Shacklewell Arms on 28 September.
