The National have made another Thanksgiving track for Bob's Burgers
As part of Bob's Burgers Bob's Buskers sketch, The National have provided yet another new track just in time for Thanksgiving.
"Save the Bird" is the fourth track made by The National for Bob's Burgers over the years, after "Gravy Boat", "Kill the Turkey" and "Give it to Teddy".
Matt Berninger expands on the Thanksgiving track for the animation, “We’re honored to continue our Thanksgiving tradition with Bob’s Burgers with "Save The Bird", which was recorded at Public Hi-Fi in Austin and in my secluded dojo in Los Angeles. It’s especially thrilling to have our brass section finally get credit for something. Also, I’d like to thank Tom for doing the dishes.”
The National have been longtime fans of the animation. Berninger recently toured and performed with the cast behind Bob's Burgers during their live tour.
As well as Thanksgiving tracks, The National have contributed a Christmas offering, and a standalone track called "Bad Stuff Happens In The Bathroom".
